Luong Xuan Truong is known as a Vietnamese football player of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club with the position of central midfielder for Korean football team Incheon on loan from V-League (Vietnam). He is the captain of the soccer team and is appreciated by fans and coaches alike for his talent in free kicks as well as his strategic vision in every match he participates in.

Having a passion from a young age plus his own father's passion, Xuan Truong started playing football. kicked since he was 5 years old and was directly trained by his father. Later, when he grew up, he became a representative of Tuyen Quang province at many youth football competitions.
In 2007, during a youth football competition in Hanoi at that time, he was a member of the U13 team of the province Tuyen Quang , he met Arsenal manager JMG and he was accepted into the academy.
In November 2012, after an impressive display when he and his team's players defeated him. Arsenal U17 team at the beginning of the year, he was invited to train with Arsenal U17 team F. C. It can be said that during the years 2013 to 2014, he represented the U19 team in all competitions such as the Championship. AFC U-19 Youth Championship, AFF U-19 Youth Championship.
In 2015, he was selected as a player of Hoang Anh Gia Lai team, where he was promoted to captain. He officially entered the V. League 1 season on January 4, 2015 and scored his team's first goal. After that, he competed with the teams of Can Tho Lottery and Becamex Binh Duong. In February 2015, Xuan Truong was recruited into the Vietnam U-23 team to train for the AFC U-23 Championship season
On December 28, 2015, he officially joined the Incheon United team after signing 2 year contract for this team. He became the first Vietnamese player to play in the K League. On December 21, 2016, Xuan Truong transferred from Incheon United to Gangwon FC on a 1-year loan agreement.
