Nguyen Cong Thanh is a young and very talented player. Currently, Cong Thanh is playing as a defender in the Ho Chi Minh club's squad. And most recently, Cong Thanh was called by coach Park Hang-Seo to focus on Vietnam, prepare for the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers. When being recruited, Cong Thanh felt extremely happy and happy. He will try his best to practice and hope to be one of the players who can be kicked on the field.
Share a little bit about his love for the ball, Cong Thanh said he has been passionate about football since small. While still sitting at school, Cong Thanh still actively participates in tournaments organized before at school, in the district and in the province.
In 2013, Cong Thanh participated in the National U15 Football Championship and he excellently won the Bronze Medal.
After graduating from high school, like many other friends of the same age, Cong Thanh University exam with the hope to have a solid career in the future and Cong Thanh chose the University of Sports and Physical Education of Ho Chi Minh City. HCM to register for exams and study. When he passed the entrance exam, he was also selected to join the Navibank Saigon team to compete in the V-League. Leaving behind his studies, Cong Thanh is determined to pursue a career in football with the desire to become a professional player.
Originally a player with good expertise and has spent a long time fighting in many clubs in the V-League in the world. But Cong Thanh's career was always precarious. Even many people teased him, wherever he went, the team was relegated or disbanded.
But with his love for the ball always burning in him, Cong Thanh shone when playing in the club's shirt Ho Chi Minh City, and it was at this time that he caught the eye of the military leader Park Hang-seo. Cong Thanh was given the opportunity to focus on recruiting. Cong Thanh determined that he had to put in more than 200% of his own efforts in the hope of keeping it. For him, the dream of wearing the national team shirt is an honor and joy.
