Poet Dong Ho's real name is Lam Tan Phac, alias Trac Chi, alias Dong Ho and Hoa Bich, born in My Duc village, Ha Tien province, now belonging to Kien Giang province.
His name was Ky Phac when he was young, orphaned by his parents, raised by his biological uncle Lam Huu Lan, and gave him the pseudonym Quoc Ti, self-named Trac Chi.
He had other pseudonyms: Thuy Co Nguyet, Dai An Am, Nhi Lieu Tien Sinh.
Dong Ho is a teacher, poet, Vietnamese language expert and an enthusiastic person of Vietnamese national culture. He is a member of the group "Ha Tien four absolutes" including: Dong Ho, Mong Tuyet (also wife) his work), Lu Khe and Truc Ha.
In addition to poetry, Dong Ho also wrote literature, signing, research, literature and history. In terms of prose, he wrote from coastal prose to modern prose.

- In 1926 - 1934: he collaborated with Nam Phong magazine advocated by Pham Quynh to come. when the newspaper stopped publishing (1935).
