Perhaps best known for his Viareggio-winning, avant-garde short story collection Centuria (1979), this Italian writer, essayist, translator, journalist, and literary critic is also remembered in this book. nearly fifty other works, including Agli Dei Ulteriori (1972) and La Letteratura Come to Menzogna (1967).
Some of his most famous works have been translated into English by Henry Martin.
