Giang Gio is known as a young scholar from Hai Phong, currently living and working in
a href="/tinh-tp/ho-chi-minh-viet-nam">Ho Chi Minh City. After graduating from the Faculty of Applied Arts, majoring in graphic design, Giang Jo started with a passion for drawing and composing pictures and has successfully implemented a number of art projects.
Most of Giang's works contain traditional elements of culture Vietnam. However, from the perspective of a young person, Giang presents images that are too familiar with the spiritual life of Vietnamese people with a new and witty drawing style, subduing the dynamism of the modern rhythm of life. With affection for national values and beauty, Giang Jo has built a lively painting world, where new and old, modern and traditional combine harmoniously, contributing to strengthening cultural and national love of young people in modern society.
It is known that she has been passionate about yoyo since middle school, friends and acquaintances called her Giang Yo, so I took that as her stage name. The name Giang Jo was originally Giang Yo, later changed to Jo to combine the rhyme "Gi" in the name and also more pure Vietnamese. The person who brought her close to art was her grandfather. He is a painter of Hai Phong Port and had his own artistic orientation from a very early age. He taught Giang to draw from a young age to adulthood, until now, when Giang has been pursuing an artistic path, he is still behind a lot of support. Giang Gio came to the art of illustration thanks to the support from young people who love Vietnamese culture, which has helped her create more good values.

She shared that she loved Vietnamese history very much, but there were many ancient cultures and customs that she did not know or fully understood, so she decided to start researching and learning more. “Every time I discover something new, I feel myself becoming more open and passionate about my work. Initially, I did this to satisfy my curiosity about Vietnamese traditions and characters. After that, I want to share what I learned with everyone, especially young people. I want to give our culture a more youthful and modern color layer, but still keep accurate historical documents so that Vietnamese culture is closer to the younger generation. This not only helps me to expand my knowledge, but also helps preserve and spread the beautiful cultural values of Vietnam to more people. "- Giang Jo shared.
