Painter Nguyen The Vu was born in 1992 in Quang Binh. Currently, he is a freelance artist and runs a small drawing class at home. The Vu is a face that has attracted a lot of attention online recently with a talent for painting portraits with a beautiful ballpoint pen to every detail.

Born into a purely agricultural family, Nguyen The Vu is fortunate to have parents, brothers and sisters always support their passion for painting. The family's situation was not well-off, so from the beginning, Vu determined that in order to pursue and nurture his dream, he had to try to be self-sufficient.

The Vu had a passion for painting since childhood. He always dreamed of becoming a portrait painter. In elementary school, Vu was very excited when it came to art class. His old drawings are often praised by teachers and friends. Up to now, 9X has always cherished the dream of learning to draw professionally and producing divine paintings that are loved by everyone.

A year ago, The Vu really found her joy. passion when he started learning and drawing with ballpoint pens. Since then, Vu has had hundreds of divine paintings in hand. The boy born in 1992 shared: “The most difficult thing when drawing with a ballpoint pen is that it cannot be erased or edited. It takes a long time to make a picture compared to using a pencil. In particular, when drawing, it is necessary to be precise and meticulous to every detail. One wrong stroke can ruin the whole work. ” Normally, a ballpoint pen work is done by Vu in 10 hours, mainly drawing people combined with landscapes. To be able to perform flexibly with a ballpoint pen, The Vu had to practice continuously for a year. Every day, he spends time practicing strokes to perfect his ability.

Currently, in addition to working at a private company, The Vu also accepts paintings for guests to earn extra income to cover life and support his family. "Painting can't be rushed, the most important thing is to breathe life into each character, so it's not because I want to make money fast that I draw too much and then draw recklessly, " Vu shared.

Although his drawings are always rated as excellent, Nguyen The Vu has never stopped trying because of that. He plans to learn to draw some other types of paintings and wants to be able to draw on many different materials with realistic style in the future.
