Also in 1944, he sent the work "Sunshine in the garden" (oil painting) to participate in the exhibition "Only".
Painter Tran Van Can and famous painters such as To Ngoc Van, Nguyen Phan Chanh, Nguyen Gia Tri , Nguyen Tuong Lan, Le Van De... created the golden age of Vietnamese modern painting early stage.
With great contributions to the country's fine arts, painter Tran Van Can has been awarded many noble medals by the Vietnamese government, including the first-class Labor Medal and the Ho Chi Minh first phase of literature and art.
Painter Tran Van Can died on July 31, 1994 in Hanoi, 83 years old.
