Duong Cuong (full name Duong Trong Cuong) is a handsome man comedy group X-Pro is better known to the audience when participating in Laughing Through Vietnam - Laughing Festival. Since coming to Saigon in 2002, Duong Cuong has tried his hand in many artistic fields, from singing to playing small roles in music videos, movies... Passionate about the profession but without a solid foundation, in 2009, Duong Cuong decided to take the entrance exam to Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema.
In 2012, Duong Cuong graduated, had many ambitions and was very optimistic about the future ahead. However, reality is far different from imagination, no matter how much Duong Cuong hopes, he is disappointed. Duong Cuong himself does not have many relationships and is alone in a foreign land, so his career is quiet. Facing the risk of unemployment, Duong Cuong decided to study film dubbing and work as a voice actor to keep his unfinished dream alive. In 2015, the opportunity came to Duong Cuong when the IDECAF theater stage recruited young actors. He was fortunate to be one of the few students recruited. Shining on the theater stage, Duong Cuong struggled in his film career. He has appeared in many movies such as: Long Legs Spy, Super Thief, Rebel Hotboy 1, Today's Day, Pursuit... but still could not leave a mark in the hearts of the audience. Most of these are small roles, but Duong Cuong is always striving and hopes that one day he will take on roles with more scope.
It wasn't until he participated in Laughing Through Vietnam - Laughing Forest Festival that Duong Cuong made the audience remember him thanks to his "handsome" appearance and great acting ability.
A King 2 Movie Star 2015 went through a difficult time. After nearly 10 years of acting, Duong Cuong had his first leading role in his film career. Duong Cuong's male lead role as Son in the movie "There is a house to lie down and listen to the sun and rain" is expected by audiences everywhere. The character Son brings Duong Cuong many experiences, many feelings, and many levels of emotions. Working with many veteran artists is also extremely fortunate for Duong Cuong.
