Phat Dat is becoming a name that receives special attention from the audience after taking on the main role in the movie project "Once I Loved". Not only attracting attention with his bright appearance and natural acting, the young actor's story of pursuing his passion also makes many people sympathize. Overcoming hundreds of applications to win an important role has partly shown his ability and potential for future development.
Who is Phat Dat?
Phat Dat's real name is Pham Van Hieu, born and raised in An Giang. Although he is still a new face on Vietnamese screens, he is gradually making his own mark thanks to his seriousness about his profession and his spirit of constant learning.
Coming from a business-oriented family, the actor was not initially expected to pursue art. His parents hope that their son will continue the family business and stick with a stable business in the future.
However, Phat Dat has a completely different personality. He doesn't like a life tied to books or a fixed job in one place. For him, freedom and the ability to experience many things are more important. It was that thought that made him decide to pursue the artistic path even though he knew there would be many challenges ahead.
Artistic journey and family opposition
Phat Dat's path to acting did not come easily. When expressing his desire to pursue art, he faced opposition from his family because their parents wanted their child to have a more stable job.
However, the young actor is still determined to pursue his passion. He signed up to study acting at Minh Nhi to hone his skills and gradually build a career foundation.
The first time was not simple when he had to both prove his ability and convince his family that his choice was serious. Perseverance and positive progress in the profession have gradually changed the thinking of relatives.
When they saw their son growing up and appearing more on screen, his family began to change from worry to pride. Every time they see their children participating in art projects, their parents feel happy and give them greater support than before.
Acting journey before fame
Before becoming known to a large audience as Bao in "Once I Loved", Phat Dat quietly accumulated acting experience through many different projects.
The actor has participated in short films and a number of television projects of directors such as Phuong Dien, Xuan Phuoc and Hoang Map. Even though he only took on small roles in the early stages of his career, he still saw them as an opportunity to learn, practice skills and better understand the professional working environment.
The most recent television project he participated in was Tra Ma Nu. This is also considered an important preparation step before he receives a great opportunity in the film industry.
The opportunity to break through with the role of Bao in "Once I Loved"
The notable turning point in Phat Dat's career came from the movie "Once We Loved", where he took on the character Bao at the age of 18. He passed hundreds of audition profiles to be chosen for the central character. This is a role with psychological depth as the character has to go through many emotional changes from the first thrills of life to the turning points of life.
The character Bao is built as a young man rich in affection, enthusiasm but also full of impulsiveness of youth. Taking on a character with many psychological layers right at the beginning of his career is no small challenge for a young actor. However, it is his sincerity in acting and the ability to express natural emotions that have helped him create sympathy with the audience.
