Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Huyen is a famous Vietnamese historian, educator and ethnographer. He held the position of Minister of National Education in Vietnam for more than 28 years. He was a member of the National Assembly from term II to term VII. In addition, he is also a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In 1934, Professor Nguyen Van Huyen's two graduation theses were recognized by experts from France and the Netherlands. , Germany... welcomed and even printed into a book for publication. In 1935, he returned to Vietnam and taught at Buoi School, the local Baccalaureate Board. He joined the Association to spread the national language script, then transferred to study at the Old Uncle Ho's Far East School as a permanent member. During the resistance war years, he was one of the typical intellectuals of the Capital. After the successful August Revolution, he was appointed to hold the position of Director of University Affairs, Ministry of National Education and Director of the Institute of Ancient Uncles. From November 1946, he served as the Minister of National Education (now the Ministry of Education), which he held until his death.
