Who is Sculpting artist Francisco Zuniga?
Known for his modern political and figurative sculptures such as La Maternidad and Sitting Yucatan Woman, he received a 1958 honor from the Mexican National Institute of Fine Arts.
He was the recipient of the 1992 Mexican National Prize for Arts and Sciences. His sculptures, paintings, and drawings are for permanent residence at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museo de Arte Moderno Mexico City, among other museums.
