Actress and comedian who first gained recognition on Saturday Night Live, then went on to star as Elaine Benes on the NBC series Seinfeld. She also played Christine Campbell on the CBS series The New Adventures of Old Christine and in 2012 she began playing the title character Selina Meyer on HBO's VEEP.
She received her first Emmy Award for Seinfeld in 1996, then went on to win more Emmy Awards for The New Adventures of Old Christine in 2006 and VEEP in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
