Our Song by Department of Arts, Vietnam Television coordinated with Dong Tay Promotion company to implement. The program creates a new breeze for once famous songs. The audience will have "golden ears" with explosive duets.
Our Song is copyrighted from the TV show of the same name produced by China's Dragon TV. Vietnam is the second country to buy copyright after Spain. Like the original version, Our Song brings together 16 singers, including 8 veteran singers who have been active in the arts for many years (passion generation) and 8 young contemporary singers (next generation). Singers listen to each other's voices to pair up and recreate classic songs together. After the performance rounds, the three teams with the most votes from the audience will enter the final night to find the "Golden Couple". MC Tran Thanh is the leader and connection of artists in this program. Episode 1 of the current program has nearly 3 million views, reaching the top 1 rating of VTV3 television channel according to data from Kantar Media.
8 veteran artists in the first season include: Quang Linh, Thanh Lam, Thanh Ha, Hoang Hai, Mai Tien Dung, Ngoc Anh, Luong Bich Huu, Thu Minh.
8 talented young artists in the first season include: Orange, Vu Thao My, Phan Duy Anh, Lam Bao Ngoc, Lyly, Pham Anh Duy, rapper OgeNus, Duong Edward.
The music director for the first season is musician Khac Hung , staging director Duong Mai Viet Anh and fashion director Nam Phung.
In the first episode, LyLy and Orange's performance "The scent of the night flies away" was musician Chau Dang Khoa (song author) denounced not asking for permission. The producer's representative said that all songs performed in the program are copyrighted from the Department of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
