Chris Hemsworth is a famous American film actor. He became famous from the role of Thor in a series of Marvel Studios superhero movies such as: Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World.
In 2004 Hemsworth auditioned for the role of Robbie Hunter in the movie. "Home and Away" but he was not selected. He was then called to play the role of Kim Hyde and gained attention with the role. After the role of Kim Hyde, Hemsworth was invited to move to Sydney to star in the movie "Home and Away". In 2005, he was nominated for 2 Logie Awards and won the category "Favorite New Talent" for his role in the movie "Home and Away". In 2010, Hemsworth played Sam Phela in the movie "Ca$h", with this role Hemsworth was assessed by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the potential young actors who can become an A-star in Hollywood.
The role of Thor in the movie of the same name is the role that brought him success and fame. Hemsworth continued to be cast in this role in The Avengers.
In 2013 Hemsworth played James Hunt, a Formula 1 racing driver in the film "Rush" directed by Ron Howard.
