Who is Architect Slavko Lowy?
Croatian architect who designed and built the first skyscraper Zagreb. Involved in the rebuilding of Nama department stores in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1945 after World War II, but forced by the Communist regime to turn over to the Office of the Architectural Project during the year. 1946.
He was unable to work during World War II because of the Nazi threat, and he spent the war years moving from one hidden Zagreb to another.
