After the Shark Tank program in mid-2021, Dh Foods suddenly became a phenomenon of the Vietnamese startup village, with the extremely inspirational "50-year-old startup story" of the Founder cum CEO Nguyen Trung Dung. However, like the leader of this company, they are not the type to 'appear out of nowhere' and suddenly become famous. Dh Foods is the result of 9 years of diligent start-up in Vietnam market and decades of wandering around Europe to accumulate experience of CEO Nguyen Trung Dung.
" In 3 times starting a business in Poland, like many young entrepreneurs now, I am quite aggressive and ambitious, working crazy for about ten hours a day, and also pulling people to run continuously with me, because wanted to 'hit fast, win fast', Mr. Dung recounted. It is the impatience and aggressiveness of his youth, the heavy consequence that he once suffered was the loss of his position as the largest distributor of instant noodles in Poland.
This is his second startup. Mr dung. At one point, this businessman brought the Vietnamese noodle brand to Poland from a manufacturer in An Giang and distribution was so successful that it "stormed" in Poland. But one day the manufacturer visited Poland, learned the market and visited him. After realizing that the market was too fertile, they offered to buy his distribution company. Because he did not agree, they immediately changed the terms of business that the two parties had signed. Not accepting their behavior, he switched to distributing another brand. As a result, the newer brand fell out of favor with the old one - and his business slowly declined. Because of the call of love to return to Vietnam, Mr. Dung initially chose a job as a manager in Vietnam. A big business in the food industry. But soon, it was his wife who realized that her husband was not suitable for work. She advised her husband to make his own and start building Dh Foods as it is now.
In 2022, CEO Dh Foods plans to launch 50 new products to serve the diverse needs of the market. Currently, the enterprise has a product portfolio of up to 150 spices. "Many of the 50 products we plan to launch next year have already been researched, completed and licensed for production," said Nguyen Trung Dung. Finally, an IPO is a long-term goal for Dh Foods. Because according to him, only IPO can help the shares - shares of Dh Foods that he has given to his staff to sell to investors; get the highest value.
