Musician Le Thuong's real name is Ngo Dinh Ho, born in Hanoi, in the family of both musicians. Le Thuong is one of the most representative musicians of the pre-war period of Vietnamese new music.

Le Thuong attended Nhan Bac School in Hanoi, until 1935, he officially became a teacher. When he was still in school, Le Thuong was very active in singing movements.
