Ton That Tiet is a French musician of Vietnamese origin. He specializes in composing modern music and is involved in the study of Vietnamese traditional music. In the works of Ton That Thuyet, there was a perfect harmony. between Western and Eastern music.

In 1993, musician Ton That Tiet founded the France-Vietnam Music Association (France-Vietnam Music Association) to develop national music. In 2007, he collaborated with the French choir Musicatreize, and composed music for a musical about Vietnamese fairy tales, performed by Tam Quy ("L'arbalète Magique").

In 1958, he studied composition at the Conservatoire de Paris with two famous professors, Jean Rivier and André Jolivet.
