With high working intensity, each year Dr. Trung directly performs about 2,500 surgeries related to urinary tract diseases. In each case, he always looks for the most optimal treatment method to help patients recover quickly, reduce pain and save costs.

In 2009, he successfully defended his Doctor of Medicine thesis at the Military Medical Academy with the topic: "Research on outcomes and complications in retrograde endoscopic ureteral lithotripsy" - a new research direction with high practical value in the specialty.

Not only good at his profession, Dr. Duong Van Trung is also active in scientific research and technical innovation. He has chaired many highly applicable topics and initiatives such as:

• Improving laparoscopic surgical techniques to treat prostate enlargement with television
• Perfect and improve the effectiveness of endoscopic ureteral lithotripsy technique

In addition, he also published dozens of articles in prestigious medical journals, contributing to spreading advances in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases.
