Known for his original anthology comic book collection called Airplanes, which was published in eight volumes between 2004 and 2011. He also created the co-webcomic, which until 2009, was published on his personal website.
In 2008, the first book in his Amulet graphic novel series came out, which attracted him to widespread acclaim. In 2013, he drew the cover for the 15th edition of the Harry Potter series.
