Luu Nga's full name is Luu Thi Nga, born in 1978 and is the CEO and Founder of Elise fashion brand - one of the leading high-end fashion brands in Vietnam. With her decisive leadership style, sharp fashion thinking and clear strategic vision, she has turned Elise into a fashion system with more than 100 stores nationwide, leaving a strong mark in the hearts of Vietnamese women.
Born and raised in the countryside Ha Tinh, Luu Nga has had a special passion for beauty since childhood. After graduating from Hanoi National Economics University, she worked through many different jobs before officially entering the fashion field. Her practical experiences helped her realize that Vietnam needs a fashion brand that is highly applicable, good quality, trendy but still suitable for the aesthetic taste and affordability of the majority of women. That mindset became the foundation for her to found Elise in 2011.
From a small store, Elise quickly developed strongly under the management of Luu Nga. She oriented the brand in an "elegant - luxurious - sophisticated" style, inspired by international collections but flexibly modified to suit Vietnamese women. Not only stopping at catching trends, she also invests heavily in technology, materials and design team to ensure that each Elise product is different and has high value.
With impressive growth rate, Elise attracts a lot of attention from international partners. In 2019, this brand sold a portion of its shares to Japanese investor Advantage Partners. However, Luu Nga still holds the highest leadership role, continuing to lead Elise according to her own vision. Currently, the brand owns more than 100 stores, about 2,000 employees and has become one of the most prominent fashion names in Vietnam.
Not only a businessman, Luu Nga is also a familiar face in the Vietnamese fashion industry. She has appeared in many television shows such as Vietnam's Next Top Model, Project Runway and many beauty contests as a consultant or judge.
