Frank Gambale is an Australian Jazz guitarist. He graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood with the title of Student of the Year. From 1984-1986, he was a lecturer at this school. He was active in music for three decades and released 12 albums.
In 1958, Frank Gambale joined the Jazz Club with his band. He then released his own studio album, titled "Brave New Guitar", in collaboration with Legato Records. In the summer of 1986 he began touring with Jean-Luc Ponty. In 1987 he started to join the band Chick Corea Elektric, active in this band for about 6 years. Frank Gambale's image has appeared on the cover of several Guitar and Jazz magazines. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 1991, famous rock singer Jerry Garcia cho knew Frank Gambale was his favorite guitarist at the time.
