Right after that, Thang Fly spoke out about "Gift of life" using his story "My father" without copyright permission. Thang Fly thinks that the ideas, characters, and lines are similar to the content of his comic "My father". But the "Gift of Life" program crew denied this. Thang Fly presented evidence that his work was composed 3 years ago to participate in the "Dream World" contest. In 2014, Skybooks Company bought the copyright and printed the book "The whole family loves each other". The program "Gift of Life" said that "My father" produced by them was adapted from the short story of the same name by author Tran Quoc Tuan. Thang Fly then went from Nghe An to Hanoi hoping to meet Tran Quoc Tuan to confront.
January 2017, a golden dragon model in Hai Phong city with the shape Humor is widely spread on social networks. Inspired by this character, Thang Fly created the dragon Pikalong. The dragon is a symbol of failure, FA, naivety, ignorance, bad luck... Pikalong's set of 20 expressions is loved by the online community.
