Nguyen Ngoc Thuy is becoming a name that the audience is interested in when she takes on the role of Trang in the movie movie Stepping into Life. Born in 2001, she belongs to the young generation of actors with the advantage of elegant appearance, gentle style and natural, emotional acting.
Before making a mark with this role, Nguyen Ngoc Thuy appeared in many projects such as War Without Borders, Venus Shoots the Heart of Mars or Sparkling Stars. However, she mainly takes on supporting roles and has not had many opportunities to shine. The role of Trang became a turning point, helping her get closer to the public.
Nguyen Ngoc Thuy graduated with a major in acting from Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema and is currently doing artistic activities at the Youth Theater.
Vai Trang – Controversial character but rich in depth
In Stepping into life, Trang is a girl who grew up in deprived circumstances, always yearning to change her life to escape poverty. That strong desire makes the character not afraid to choose risky paths.
However, her immaturity in experience and impulsive personality caused Trang to make wrong decisions many times, thereby creating a lot of debate in the audience community.
According to Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, she feels that the character Trang has many similarities with herself, especially love for family, ambition and youthful energy. However, the big difference lies in the way she chooses the path: if in real life she pursues her goals through personal efforts, Trang is willing to make sacrifices to achieve what she wants.
To fully portray the character, the actress spent a lot of time researching the script, building a multi-dimensional character's psychology - both pitiful and reprehensible. She focuses on quick emotional changes, creating dramatic highlights and contributing to increasing the pace of the film.
Career turning point and efforts behind
“Step into life” is VFC's first project in which Nguyen Ngoc Thuy takes on the main role. This is not only an opportunity but also a big challenge with a new face.
During the process of participating in the movie, she had to deal with many problems herself:
- Actively prepare costumes suitable for the character
- Pay some personal expenses yourself
- Quickly adapt to a professional working environment
It is these efforts that have contributed to helping Ngoc Thuy gradually assert her abilities and create her own mark in the hearts of the audience.
From a young actor who hasn't had many opportunities to stand out, Nguyen Ngoc Thuy is gradually asserting herself through her role as Trang in Step into Life. With serious investment and progressive spirit, she is expected to continue to break through and become a bright face of Vietnamese screens in the near future.
