Teacher Do Duy Hieu was born in a poor family with 4 brothers and sisters, because of difficult circumstances, only Duy Hieu and his brother are fully educated. That's why Duy Hieu always tries his best in his studies, because it is only by studying well that he can get out of the current poverty. He chose Hanoi University of Science and Technology, majoring in Mechanical Engineering to study. When he was in his second year of high school, he had a sudden accident. The aftermath of the accident left him completely paralyzed in his legs and dependent on a wheelchair. That makes Duy Hieu seem to be pushed into a dead end, so many ambitions and dreams seem to have disappeared. However, with his own efforts and encouragement from family and friends, Duy Hieu gradually regained his spirit and he decided to study for the exam to the Faculty of Mathematics - University of Natural Sciences. He passed with a score of 27/30 points, ranked 6th in the whole entrance course and was recruited into the Talent class. But because the talented class was on the upper floor, Hieu asked to study in the regular math class. In the same year, Hieu's younger brother passed the entrance exam to Hanoi University of Architecture.
The joy multiplies for Hieu's parents, but along with the hardship of taking care of school fees for the two brothers, Hieu is more and more aware of his efforts. Hieu has won many remarkable achievements such as: First Prize in Student Scientific Research at the school level; Typical young faces of Hanoi National University; 2013 Young Scientific Talent First Prize; was the output valedictorian with a score of 3.59/4.
With his excellent performance, Do Duy Hieu was assigned to the Vietnam Institute of Mathematics and was given special privileges to do the doctoral thesis (no need to pass a master's degree). doctor). He was also invited by the University of Lyon (France) to study and research with a full scholarship. But he refused to study abroad to realize his dream of teaching and spreading fire to generations of students. He boldly established a Math review center for students from 2nd grade to university exam reviewers.
Up to now, the number of offline students has reached several thousand. Online students on the website and fanpage: Learning Math with the valedictorian has reached more than 450,000 students in all parts of the country, some of which are Vietnamese students abroad. Recently, Mr. Hieu also applied a new channel of knowledge transmission, creating excitement and motivation for students, which is the way of teaching by live stream on facebook. With this new way of teaching, it helps students consolidate their knowledge, answer questions and ignite their passion for Math.
