Best known for winning the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest and recording several hit singles with the band Chips, she is also notable for her solo single "Why Me?" (Which rose to number one on the charts. Ireland in 1992) and "Terminal 3" (which peaked at number seven in 1984).
She hosted RTE's network games for the Band and also assisted in the production of a season of The X Factor UK.
