Born Kevin Michael McKeehan, he pioneered Christian rap as a member of DC Talk and received a Grammy Award for his 2009 album Alive and Transport.
His 2007 album Portable Sounds sold 50, 645 copies in its first week, reached #1 on the SoundScan Contemporary Christian General Chart, and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album.
