Ly Hoang Nam ranked 95th in ITF, increased 47 places, becoming the first Vietnamese teenager to rank higher than 100th ITF International youth tennis in the Philippines in 2014. Thanks to an impressive track record, Hoang Nam promoted to 49th place in ITF on 24th. March, 2014. Hoang Nam ranked No. 1 in Southeast Asia at the age of U18 and entered the top 10 in Asia.
- On April 18, 2015, Hoang Nam won the men's singles and men's doubles tennis championships. at the Asian Closed Junior Championships. Hoang Nam ranked 14th in ITF on 11/5/2015.
On April 18, 2014, Ly Hoang Nam was sanctioned by the standing committee of Vietnam Tennis Federation for 2 times. did not comply with the decision to summon the national team.
At the age of 9, Ly Hoang Nam was brought to Binh Duong by his father to study tennis under the guidance of coach Tran Duc Quynh.
Ly Hoang Nam's efforts were rewarded with countless national championships U14, U16, U18. In all 3 tournaments, Ly Hoang Nam competed over his age: 12 years old won the U14 championship, 14 years old won the U16 championship and 16 years old won the U18 championship.
