Laughing Through Vietnam is a TV show looking for talented comedians Vietnam is jointly produced by Khang Media Company and Radio - Television Vinh Long. This is a program for all Vietnamese citizens or foreigners who can speak Vietnamese who are currently working and living in Vietnam, aged from 15 to 55. This program aired its first episode on May 10, 2015 on channel THVL1. After the success of season 1, Vinh Long Radio and Television Station has continued to broadcast other versions of Laughing Through Vietnam such as Laughing Through Vietnam - Laughing Festival and Laughing Through Vietnam - Artist Version. Laughing Through Vietnam is one of the shows that attracts many viewers in the Southwest region and Ho Chi Minh City.
The preliminary round will screen the candidates. Candidates who pass the preliminary round will become official candidates. Contestants will go through rounds with different topics given by the organizers, then the contestants will come up with comedy ideas with their chosen mentor to build a complete comedy. Two professional judges will score the competition performances and decide whether the contestant must stop playing or continue.
