Who is Band Tvxq?
TVXQ is the abbreviation of Tong Vfang Xien Qi (Eastern god of origin which means Gods from the East). In Korea, the group is called DBSK, which stands for Dong Bang Shin Ki. The group's fanclub is Cassiopeia (the name of the constellation of 5 stars representing the 5 members of the group).
TVXQ is one of the oldest and most successful groups in Korea. TVXQ swept most of the big and small music charts and became the legendary Korean group. TVXQ is known as the "Kings of Kpop" - The Kings of Kpop. The group released albums and singles in many countries in Asia. TVXQ's 16th Japanese single "Purple Line" released in 2008 topped the Oricon chart for the first time. TVXQ became the first foreign group, the 5th Asian artist (non-Japanese) to have a #1 single in this prestigious chart.
In early 2010, TVXQ released the album "Best Selection". 2010" in Japan and sold more than 510,000 copies in a month and won 2 platinum awards.
