In 1954, musician Phan Nhan returned to work at the Southern Congregation for Literature and then gathered to the North. In 1959, he returned to work as an editor and reporter at the Voice of Vietnam. After that, he was sent to study a music training class in Hungary. In 1970, he graduated and returned home. He enthusiastically participated in combat service in the resistance war against the US.
