Hong Thanh Quang real name is Dang Hong Quang. He is a radio engineer, bachelor of journalism, poet and journalist in Vietnam.
Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Newspaper, Colonel of People's Security, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper. People's Public Security - World Security topic, responsible for the content of the topics World Security Weekly, Mid-Month and World Security End of the month.

After Hong Thanh Quang graduated from high school, he passed the entrance exam to the Military Technical Academy and was a student of class 14 of the school. Due to his excellent test results and his eagerness to learn, he was sent to the Soviet Union to study abroad.
After 6 years of studying abroad, he returned home with a degree in radio engineering in the former Soviet city of Ulianovsk. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in September 1986 and became a technical assistant of the 29th Information Battalion of the Central Highlands Army.
