Born into a family with a musical tradition, Thanh Tu inherited a passion for music from her family, especially from her father. When deciding to choose music, he decided to choose Music Pedagogy of Tay Ninh Pedagogical College to study. Teaching until 2018, Thanh Tu decided to temporarily stop working and enlist in the army. Like the young Vietnamese, enlistment is your responsibility and obligation to the country. On March 7, 2018 Thanh Tu left unfinished ambitions for the future and enlisted in the 4th Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Regiment, 5th Infantry Division.
During the process of studying and working in the army, besides participating in training and being ready to fight, he still did not forget to satisfy his passion for music through activities. cultural and artistic activities of the unit. Art in the military accidentally once again awakened his burning desire for music.
Over the past two years, amid the raging COVID-19 pandemic, Bui Thanh Tu has released 2 songs to propagandize and encourage the frontline against the epidemic and all people. Those are the songs “Smile, repel COVID-19” and “5K overcome the pandemic”, both of his songs were enthusiastically received by the audience. and has partly given strength to the forces participating in the fight against the epidemic and for all classes of people. Bui Thanh Tu shared: "I think everyone has their own dream. So a small step is also an effort. Don't let anyone say that you won't be able to do what you want just because you act too slow. Please be persistent, choose the right moment and make an unexpected breakthrough to make everyone believe in your bravery.
