Who is New Poet Thuc Te?
Poet Thuc Te's real name is Nguyen Thuc Nhuan, born in My Lam village, Phu My commune, Phu Vang district (now in Thua Thien-Hue province). He was a Vietnamese journalist and poet in the pre-war period.
He also had another pseudonym, Lang Tu;
Tuc Te was kidnapped, killed and dumped by the French at Truoi station (in Phu Loc district) in December 1946, when he was only 30 years old.
In May 1995, he was posthumously awarded as a martyr by the State.
In 1996, he was posthumously awarded the Medal "For the cause of Vietnam journalism.

Young / Before famous

As a child, he studied in Quy Nhon, then studied at Quoc Hoc Hue School.
Since 1935, he moved to Saigon, making a living as a journalist. During this time, he collaborated for many prestigious newspapers such as Literary magazine, Civil Rights, Cong Cong, Mai, Hanoi newspaper... ; He used to be the Editor-in-Chief of Indochina and Mai newspaper.

In early 1946, he and Hoang Thuong Khanh were assigned to establish Thua Thien Province Information and Propaganda Department.
