The poet Lien Nam's real name is Dang Nam Phong, a native of Hoa Tri commune, Phu Hoa district, Phu Yen. He was an adult poet during the anti-American resistance war.
His other pseudonyms: Chim Lac, Van Lang, Au Co.
He was a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; member of Vietnam Writers Association, former President of Phu Yen Literature and Art Association.
Lien Nam poet passed away on March 6, 2012.
