At that time, due to my family situation, difficult life, my parents were both artists, but life was hard and poor, fortunately, I also knew how to sing, so I was strong. dared to step out of work to earn a living, to earn money to support my family, and because of that, I had to give up on my dream of higher education… During the past 20 years of artistic activity, I have stabilized my family life I can take care of my parents, have a stable income for myself, so now is the time for me to spend a lot of time on improving my knowledge and finding my dream of studying again…”.
In 2013, artist Thanh Ngan returned to the stage with a new style. Thanh Ngan collaborated with singer Duong Dinh Tri to release an album called Memory. The album is a collection of 14 lyrical songs by famous composers such as: Quoc Dung, Thanh Son, Lam Phuong, Song Tra, Vinh Su, Ningjiang...
In January 2014, Thanh Ngan and Duong Dinh Tri held a music night "Sing again, baby" to introduced to a domestic audience.

As a child, Thanh Ngan showed great interest in new music. She used to go to a singing contest and was praised by musician Pham Trong Cau for having a good voice. But she was directed by her parents to follow the family's singing troupe.
Thanh Ngan followed her parents on tour through singing groups from the West, the East, and then to the Central and Northern provinces such as Tien Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, Perfume River (Hue), Saigon 1, Minh To, Huynh Long .. Until entering the theater troupe Tran Huu Trang, Thanh Ngan has been a real artist with a sweet voice and flexible acting.
