Who is Sculptor Truong Dinh Que?

Truong Dinh Que is a famous sculptor in Vietnam. He was one of the leading sculptors before 1975, but he paid little attention to the monumental works of his life. But mainly he sculpts statues for artists when they have a request.

Truong Dinh Que has had a passion for art since childhood. He attended Hue Fine Arts College for the first course and graduated in 1960
Then he enrolled at Gia Dinh Fine Arts School and graduated 3 years later
At the age of 26, he organized a organized his first exhibition with more than 30 works including paintings, photographs and sculptures.
In 1971, he moved to Saigon to settle down, here he did many jobs to earn a living but still remained steady. He regularly composed.
After 1975, he was a lecturer at the University of Fine Arts, University of Architecture and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association for many terms

Truong Dinh Que has a wife, female painter Phan Giang Huong.
He has three children. In which, 2 people follow their parents' profession (sculptor Truong Tu Lam and painter Truong My Na) and have had joint exhibitions with their family.
