In 2021, she and Bang Khanh Tung Lam have the opportunity to collaborate on the project " Stop". The song "Thoi" was born in an afternoon, when My Carol was sitting in the courtyard of the high school waiting to be picked up. At that time, she also understood why the phrase "sadly...." always rang in her head. In just 20 minutes of holding the pen, she had the melody of the whole song. As for the lyrics, it took nearly a month to complete satisfactorily. The female singer born in 1999 does not force herself to write music about something or how. The way she writes that music is up to and inspired, but of course, after those spontaneous moments, she also has to take time to edit and refine her work.
Through the song "Stop", My Carol wants listeners to be able to sit and watch the character's unfinished love story in the song. The song is like a rewind to the beautiful footage of the character's past, for viewers to look back with a bit of regret but still be happy because those beautiful things happened anyway.
Not all of My Carol's music products are written from stories or personal experiences. Much of her inspiration for songwriting is based on imagination, and so is the song "Stop". When composing, she often puts herself in the character, so each song, each role that My Carol brings to the audience has something good and interesting. In music, she is deeply influenced by US/UK music. Especially the music of many famous artists such as: Charlie Puth, Keshi, Billie Eilish.... But perhaps, the artist who influenced her the most is Vu Cat Tuong and Adele. In the future, she will continue to maintain her studies in parallel with music activities.
