Growing up in Da Nang some time later when she was 6 years old in 1986, singer Ngoc Ha with her family She moved to Dong Nai to live and then she went to Saigon to study. Being a passionate singer since childhood, she has participated in many singing competitions and won many awards such as: Consolation prize at the traditional singing contest in 1995, Finalist in the Singing contest. Radio broadcasting, Ho Chi Minh City in 1996, Second Prize of Dong Nai Television Singing in 1997, First Prize of Television Singing Binh Duong in 1997, reached the final round of the City Television Voice Ho Chi Minh, Silver medal folk song contest organized by Saigon Women's Cultural House
Then, in 2000, Ngoc Ha moved to the US to settle down under a guarantee; A few months later, she sent an audio CD of some of her songs to a number of music centers, but there was no response. It wasn't until 2002, after a few times of submitting her voice introductions, that she was invited by the center Thuy Nga participating in the program Paris By Night 63. At this music center, she made the audience admire with her sweet voice; After going through many successive shows of Paris by night, she quickly became a familiar name to overseas Vietnamese audiences. After a year in San Francisco, she moved to San Jose where many Vietnamese people live and it is convenient for her to work or participate in art activities.
Since 2006, she has been a freelance singer and collaborate with many overseas music centers abroad.
