Rum's real name is Ho Minh Triet, known to the audience through Mashups (Combining many songs to form a complete song). Rum not only attracts attention with her beautiful, warm voice but also because of her student face, which has many similarities with Korean idols. Rum's Mashups are a delicate combination of many familiar songs, creating a melody that sounds both strange and familiar.
Rum came to music quite early, mainly because he taught himself. To be able to make a complete Mashup, Rum takes 1-2 days to build and brainstorm. After that, Rum chose songs with lyrics that link together to create a story throughout for the Mashup.
Handsome, good at singing, Rum made the internet community when he continuously released folk mashups. extremely unique. Rum used to make the pedestrian street Nguyen Hue riot with a Mashup of 10 folk songs modern combo. Rum received a lot of praise for its originality and enthusiasm.
The 30-hit Mashup Vpop Rum performed with Le Quang Hung (Hung Muzik) after posting received special attention from young people, attracting hundreds of thousands of views and shares. Rum's Mashup version is evaluated rhythmically, naturally, without feeling forced. To get such a complete and extreme musical product, it requires a musician to have a solid and sophisticated knowledge of the melody. To make this clip, Rum and Le Quang Hung took about a week from ideation to beta mixing, recording and music mixing... All done by the two young people themselves. Besides, the warm vocals and handsome looks of the two young people made the audience extremely excited. The 6-minute Mashup version includes 30 favorite songs: People's wife (singer Phan Manh Quynh) , Tomorrow (female singer Toc Tien), Love without leave (Only C), Let go (Bui Anh Tuan)...
Rum used to participate in the program "Perfect version" with the Mashup version of the song "Lost fate" combining the songs: Co Lu, Fate, Who is waiting for whom, Rain on Hue Street, Another one again... and the song Lac Troi by Son Tung MTP. The Mashup version is performed on the RnB background.
