Who is Vietnam War Hero Bui Thi Cuc?
Bui Thi Cuc, born Le Thi Lan, is a heroic female soldier of Vietnam during the resistance war against the French.
Bui Thi Cuc was born into a poor family with many children, when she was young. When her father died, leaving a lot of debt, she was sold to a family in the neighboring village for adoption.
When the August Revolution was successful, she joined the local women's cadre. that was admitted to the Party, and was promoted to be an cadre of An Thi Women's Union District.
French colonialists invaded the southern districts of Hung Yen from 1947 to 1950, they colluded with reactionary henchmen to set up many outposts, and often exploited the people. At the Canh Lam post near Van Mac, the name of the local ministries Nguyen Doan Nhi colluded with the French colonialists, killed our cadres, and threatened the people. Ms. Bui Thi Cuc was sent by the An Thi District Party Committee to trade in the market to perform the tasks of enemy transportation and counterintelligence.

In 1995, she was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Public Security Forces by the State.
