During his career in composing, Ca Le Thuan has left 12 préludes for piano. Works written for symphony such as: Concerto for piano and orchestra, Symphony of Poetry in D major, Symphony Painting of Vietnamese Standing, Ballad-Symphony, Sun and Faith... Some works Written for choir: Echoes of Binh Duong, Cantata-Vietnamese symphony singing our hearts, Songs of Vietnam, Echo of Binh Duong, Red Pearl symphony-dance ensemble. In addition, he also wrote a number of musical works for films, plays, cai luong, chamber music....
The two works he wrote for dance are the play "Red Pearl" and "Luc Van" Tien and Kieu Nguyet Nga" is considered highly groundbreaking. With these two works, Ca Le Thuan is considered the first person to "dramatize symphony music".
