Musician Huyen Linh's real name is Nguyen Xuan Can, he is also known to the audience as a reformed artist.
Composer Huyen Linh has been successful in her debut compositions. Two of his favorite songs are "Cung Dan Lu Thu", "Rain Night" which was published in Saigon in 1956 and recorded by many overseas singers such as in the United States and in France.

At the age of 11, musician Huyen Linh and her younger sister ran away from home, but were fortunate enough to be accepted as a teacher's assistant to support her and go to school.
At the age of 16, he worked as a trumpet player in the Hiep Thanh reformed troupe. He was also taught how to use guitar, drums, madoline, and also studied harmony and composition with Pham Ngu.
At the age of 18, he founded the Tu Do troupe in Da Nang, with the participation of the artist America.
In 1954, he emigrated to the South.
