Who is New Poet Che Lan Vien?
Che Lan Vien's real name is Phan Ngoc Hoan, born on the land Quang Tri. He is a modern poet and writer of Vietnamese literature. The pseudonym Che Lan Vien means an orchid in the garden of the Che family - a royal family of the Cham people in the ancient Champa country. Che Lan Vien started composing poetry when he was 12 or 13 years old. At the age of 17, Che Lan Vien's first collection of poems, titled "Dieu Ruan" was published. Che Lan Vien's poetic style is divided into two periods:

Che Lan Vien was born in Quang Tri but grew up and went to school in Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh. He only finished his studies, then quit school and worked as a tutor to earn a living. In 1939, Che Lan Vien went to Hanoi and went back to school. After that, he went to Saigon to work as a journalist and then moved to Thanh Hoa to teach.
July 1949, Che Lan Vien joined the Communist Party Indochina. In 1954, he moved to the North to work as an editor of Literature newspaper. After that, he worked in the art department for about 2 years from 1956-1958.
Che Lan Vien wrote many articles printed in Thong Nhat newspaper, published in Hanoi before May 1975. When writing newspapers, he often signs under the pseudonym Thach Han. In the Spring Smile section of Literature newspaper, Che Lan Vien has two short articles, namely Ngo Boi Kieu and Ly Do Gon signed Oah (ie Hoan).
During his youth, Che Lan Vien had a first love with a girl named Ngoc Anh, Ngoc Anh is a descendant of a family, so he is called "brom anh tycoon". Ngoc Anh's house was originally in Dieu Tri, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh. Then he wrote the poem "A and H", A is Anh, and H is Hoan (Che Lan Vien's real name).
