Who is TV show Shark Tank (Thuong Vu Bac Ty)?
Shark Tank is a reality TV show about raising capital for Vietnamese startups. It can be said that Shark Tank is both a launch pad for startups with business ideas but lack of capital, as well as an opportunity to introduce projects to millions of audiences. In the program, startups will present their startup ideas and business plans to convince venture capitalists (Shark). Then, the Sharks will consider whether to invest or not. If the Sharks are interested in a certain project, they will make an offer and negotiate a contract with Startup. In case all the Sharks refuse to invest, the Startup will leave empty-handed. An interesting rule in the Shark Tank program is that Startup also has the right to refuse Shark if it does not agree with the investment offer. This makes the show more thrilling and interesting.

After 3 seasons of broadcasting, 133 Startups were broadcast, 77 Startups successfully raised capital with a total investment commitment of up to 772 billion VND (nearly 33 million USD).
