In 1985, Do Phuong Nhu won the special prize of the jury in the Wieniawski violin competition in Poland, she became the youngest violin contestant in Vietnam to win the international violin award.
One year later, Phuong Nhu entered the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music. While still a 4th year student at the Conservatory, Do Phuong Nhu was chosen as the solo violinist of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the most famous orchestra of the Russian Federation.
In 2009, Phuong Nhu won a long-term violin contract with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, in London. This is the largest symphony orchestra among the four orchestras of the world's leading famous media company.
But perhaps the most prestigious is the first prize of the International Shostakovich String Quartets Competition, performed by her and three Russian girlfriends.

Phuong Nhu got acquainted with the violin very early. At the age of four, little Phuong Nhu received a birthday gift from her father, a tiny violin, and her father became the first teacher to teach her the musical notes as well as correct her each posture to hold the violin and pull the bow.
At the age of six, Phuong Nhu started studying at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music and was a favorite student of teachers Tran Manh Hung, Nguyen Bich Ngoc, Ta Bon.
