Who is Composer Bao Thu?
Musician Bao Thu, whose real name is Nguyen Trung Khuyen, is a famous golden musician since 1967 in Vietnam. Bao Thu is the author of popular songs before 1975 such as: "Wish "Voice of the past", echo the same", "Don't ask why I'm sad". He is also a magician with the stage name Nguyen Khuyen, is one of the few Vietnamese magicians who have Doctor of Magic degree awarded by the International Association of Magicians. The stage name Bao Thu was borrowed from girlfriends Bich Bao, Thanh Thu in Da Lat and Xuan Thu in Saigon. again.
Bao Thu loved the arts from a young age, in 1960, with the stage name Nguyen Khuyen, he was famous as a magic prodigy in Vietnam when he was 16 years old.
In 1962, he officially joined the Association Française des Artistes Prestidigitateurs - A. F.A. P. in Paris.
In 1963, he passed the exam for the degree of Professor of Magic from the QTAT "École International de la Magie". Here, he received lessons in Pigeon Chemistry and Poker from international magician Channing Pollock.
In 1964, he was elected by the Association of Magicians of the Republic of Vietnam to be the Official Representative of Magic in Vietnam under the notarized certificate number 26/8/64. He is the first and only person to date to receive this honor. He was also known as the "Pigeon King" for his unique magic shows with pigeons that were recorded and broadcast on television many times at that time. In 1969, he was officially recognized as an International Magician by the International Brotherhook of Magicians IBM (Kenton Chio - USA). In 1971, he toured through a number of European countries such as France, Italy, Belgium... This time, he stopped in the Netherlands to learn more about dance and drama.
He was also invited to be a judge of the Southern Magic Festival, organized by the City Department of Culture and Sports. After the success of her first song, Bao Thu composed consecutive songs: "Voice of the past", "I love the singing of students", "Vong to the heart".

Musician Bao Thu was born into an intellectual family. Bao Thu's paternal grandfather is Nguyen Van Hau, the name Thuan Duc is a teacher, his father is Nguyen Trung Ngon, a journalist with the pen name Tam Duc.
