Serbian criminal also known as Arkan who was the commander of the paramilitary group known as the Serbian Team Volunteers during the Yugoslav wars. He was indicted on various crimes by the United Nations but was assassinated by 23-year-old Dobrosav Gavric shortly before his trial.
He became famous for his escape from prison, doing so four times from various European prisons from 1973 to 1983.
