Poet Ma The Vinh, a son of the Nung ethnic group, was born in Tri Phuong commune, Trang Dinh district, Lang Son province. He also has the pseudonyms Ma Cao and Mai The.
He is a member of: Vietnam Writers Association, Vietnam Journalists Association, Vietnam Literature and Arts Association, Vietnam Folklore Association, Vietnam Theater Artists Association, and Arts and Letters Association. provincial art Lang Son (Former President of the Association).
Currently, he is living with his children and grandchildren in Lang Son city.
Before entering into the activities of composing poetry, writing propaganda plays and becoming a famous poet in Lang Son, he used to be a poet. cultural cadres in charge of propaganda and propaganda, editors of mass poetry of the province and Viet Bac area.
Besides composing poetry and literature, Ma The Vinh is also passionate about collecting, researching, translating and introducing folklore. He is an intelligent cultural researcher, with a deep understanding of his language, writing, customs and folk songs.
Ma The Vinh composed in many fields: poetry, stories, memoirs, Theatrical script and recording, but the most successful is poetry, in which the most significant is poetry written in Tay-Nung language and poetry composed in bilingual (Tay, Nung - Vietnamese). He has strengths in the genre of poetry and singing because he has a heart of sli and luong folk songs, a source that flows silently in the Tay and Nung villages of his homeland and the Viet Bac countryside.
